LRS® Retirement Solutions is excited to announce that the City of Orlando has signed an agreement for PensionGold® Version 3 software and implementation services, in addition to post-implementation maintenance and support services through early 2031.
The City released an RFP in October of 2018 for a comprehensive web-based pension administration system (PAS) for the City’s three separate defined benefit plans. The new solution will provide staff at the City with the tools necessary to provide world-class services to plan members in the Police, Firefighters, and General Employees’ pension funds. LRS offered a proposal in December 2018 and was approved as the best vendor/PAS in July 2019. Agreements were signed early in 2020 with the project slated to kick off in March 2020.
The solution for the City consists of PensionGold Version 3 software along with MemberDirect (member portal), plus managed hosting services.
The three City of Orlando pension funds represent a total of approximately 3,400 plan members including active, vested, DROP participants, retirees, and beneficiaries.
With the City of Orlando as the most recent LRS Retirement Solutions customer in Florida, LRS now works with pension funds in three of the largest municipalities and a total of eight pension funds across the Sunshine State.
